Zak Ozmo

Founding Program Director, Music In Oncology Program at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center

Zak Ozmo currently serves as CEO and Director of the Ozmo Institute for Neuroaesthetics and is a Founding Program Director for the Music in Oncology Program at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. With a background in music and healthcare, Zak has developed innovative programs applying music to medical treatments and has expanded initiatives to involve community organizations. As a producer and host of "Music & Medicine" on WYXR, Zak discusses the nexus of music and medicine while interviewing various experts. Zak has held multiple academic positions, including Visiting Assistant Professor at Rhodes College, and has contributed to numerous radio broadcasts across international platforms. Zak's entrepreneurial spirit is evident through the founding and leadership of L'Avventura London and OPELLA NOVA RECORDS LIMITED. Zak holds advanced degrees in Early Music Performance and has actively supported cancer research through strategic entertainment and marketing initiatives.
