David Goddard

David Goddard is a seasoned media relations professional currently serving as the Coordinator of Media Relations at the Tickle College of Engineering, University of Tennessee, since February 2014. In this role, David coordinates various aspects of external media, acting as a liaison between faculty and staff in the college and outside media. Prior to this position, David worked as a journalist at Scripps from March 2007 to February 2014, where responsibilities included editing, paginating, and disseminating news across multiple platforms. David's journalism career began at the Cleveland Daily Banner and continued at the Maryville Daily Times, gaining valuable experience in reporting and media content management. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, obtained in 1998.
