Misty Bailey

Misty Bailey is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville since November 2022. With extensive experience in higher education, Misty has held the position of Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator at the same institution since August 2004, overseeing programmatic evaluation and assessment for various accrediting bodies. Additionally, Misty has worked as a science editor and coordinator for the Comparative & Experimental Medicine graduate program and has taught numerous composition and literature courses at different colleges, including Lincoln Memorial University and Maryville College. Misty holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration, an MA in English, and a BA in English from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, along with an AS in General Science from Walters State Community College.
