Rich Murphy

Rich Murphy is an experienced swimming coach with a diverse background in both collegiate and club settings. Currently serving as the Associate Head Swimming Coach at the University of Tennessee since August 2017, Murphy also holds the position of Associate Head Coach and Director of Competitive Performance at Dynamo Swim Club since January 2015. Previous roles include Head Swimming Coach at the University of Houston, Associate Head Coach at Dynamo Swim Club, and Assistant Swimming Coach at Auburn University and Bowling Green State University. Murphy's coaching tenure began in the early 2000s with positions at Sun Devil Aquatics and Palo Alto Swim Club. Educationally, Murphy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
