Amy Kinkade currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice and Educational Consultant at The University of Texas at Austin and has held the position of Cohort Coordinator and Lecturer since December 2014. Kinkade has extensive experience in training and professional development focusing on Social and Emotional Learning, educational leadership, and teacher evaluation systems. Additionally, Kinkade serves as a Field Supervisor for teachers obtaining Alternative Certification through the Educator Preparation Program at Region 13. Previous roles include Adjunct Faculty at St. Edward's University, where Kinkade taught Foundations in Education and supervised student teachers, and a distinguished career as an Elementary School Principal within the Austin Independent School District until retirement in 2013. Kinkade's educational background includes a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Special Education from the same institution.
