Jennifer Nailos

Jennifer Nailos, EdD, serves as the Director of Assessment and Professional Development at The University of Texas at Austin since January 2020. Nailos has extensive experience in higher education assessment, having held the position of Program Director at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board from 2016 to 2020, where responsibilities included facilitating program reviews and managing significant grant programs. In 2023, Nailos presided as President of the Texas Association for Higher Education Assessment (TxAHEA). Previous roles include principal instructor at Indiana University Bloomington, where original courses were developed, and various student affairs positions at multiple universities, emphasizing residential management and programming. Nailos holds an EdD in Higher Education from Indiana University Bloomington and additional degrees from The Ohio State University and University of Massachusetts Amherst.
