Joe Barge

Joe Barge is a landscape architect with extensive experience in the field, currently serving at The University of Texas at Austin since September 2025. Prior to this role, Joe worked at TBG Partners from February 2021 to August 2025 and at Blu Fish Collaborative between May 2018 and November 2020, both as a landscape architect. Additional experience includes serving as a project planner at Witmer Jones Keefer, Ltd. and Wood & Partners Inc., along with a position as assistant curator at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia. Joe began a career in landscape architecture as an intern at Kalu Yala in 2013, contributing to a TEDx global event planning alongside beach design initiatives. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from The University of Georgia, earned in 2014, following studies at Valdosta State University from 2008 to 2009.
