Liz Pratt

Liz Pratt, PhD, is an experienced User Research Program Director at IBM, specializing in Data & AI, where responsibilities include leading a team of user researchers and influencing product strategy to meet user needs. Pratt also serves as a Course Instructor at The University of Texas at Austin, teaching IBM's Design Thinking practices, and is active as a Yoga Instructor and Sound Practitioner with certifications in Vinyasa Flow and Trauma-Informed Yoga. Previous roles include Director of User Experience Research at Express Scripts, where a UX team was managed during a significant digital transformation, and Lead User Experience Researcher at PayPal, among other positions in UX and design across various organizations. Education includes a PhD in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a BA in Psychology from Wittenberg University.
