Mustafa Munir

Mustafa Munir is a PhD Research Fellow in Machine Learning at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on computer vision model compression and developing Vision GNN-based models for various image tasks. Prior experience includes an internship at NVIDIA in Efficient Computer Vision and a role as an SoC Design Engineer at Intel Corporation, where validation content and formal verification of CPU designs were emphasized. Additional roles include Graduate Researcher at the University of Southern California, Electronic Systems Engineer Associate at Lockheed Martin, and various internships related to avionics and electrical systems at Textron Systems and Textron Aviation. Mustafa holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
