Phillip Cullen

Phillip Cullen serves as the Sr. Director of Basketball Operations and Organizational Development at Spurs Sports & Entertainment since August 2022. Cullen has been involved with The University of Texas at Austin as a member of the Design in Health Advisory Council and contributes to the Mayor's Fitness Council in San Antonio, both roles held since 2021. Previously, Cullen took on various roles at Spurs Sports & Entertainment, including Director of Basketball Operations and Innovation from September 2019 to 2022, and Director of Basketball Strategy from 2016 to 2019. Additional experience includes positions as Director of Basketball Operations and Director of Player Development at the University of Utah from June 2012 to July 2016, and as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Grand Canyon University from May 2009 to May 2012. Cullen's career began as an Engineer in Training at EME from January 2006 to January 2009. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah (1998-2002) and a Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University (2010-2012).
