Robert Newberry is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin, since January 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UCSF from July 2016 to January 2022, where work focused on developing chemical genetics technology and identifying a toxic conformation of alpha-synuclein. Academic contributions also encompass a Graduate Research Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Robert evaluated protein interactions and stability while mentoring undergraduate students.
