Ben Stokes

Ben Stokes is an accomplished academic in the field of chemistry, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Santa Clara University since September 2020. Prior to this role, Ben held a similar position at UC Merced from January 2015 to June 2020 and was a NIH Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Utah from February 2011 to August 2014, focusing on Pd-catalyzed relay Suzuki reactions. Earlier experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where Ben developed intramolecular Rh(II)-catalyzed reactions, and an NSF Undergraduate Research Assistant position at Dartmouth College, working on the synthesis of low-dispersity block copolymers. Ben earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2010 and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004.
