Sarah Schwartz

Sarah Schwartz has extensive experience in academia and research, currently serving as a Software Developer I and Graduate Research Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin, where dissertation work focuses on sociophonetics and performance in Morocco. Previously, Sarah taught Moroccan Arabic as an instructor and supported various research initiatives as a graduate teaching assistant. Early career roles include internships addressing human rights issues across the Middle East and North Africa, analyzing security concerns in North Africa, and contributing to election monitoring projects. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Arabic Linguistics and is pursuing a PhD in the same field at The University of Texas at Austin, following the completion of a Doctor of Philosophy in Arabic Language and Literature from Georgetown University.
