Aliya Naqvi

Aliya Naqvi is an undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Dallas, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. In the role of Academic Excellence Scholar and Undergrad Student Researcher, Aliya focuses on the development of label-free rapid detection of biomolecules and conducts research on biosensors for medical diagnostic and prognostic applications in point-of-care testing. Experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the Islamic Center of Momin and working as an Allergy Technician at CureAllergy Clinic. Previous roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant in multiple healthcare settings during the COVID-19 pandemic provided extensive hands-on experience in Emergency Care, Radiology, and Geriatrics. Aliya also holds a High School Diploma from Centennial High School.
