Donal Skinner

Donal Skinner currently serves as the Dean at The University of Texas at Dallas since January 2023. Previously, Donal held the position of Dean of The Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University from July 2019 to January 2023. Donal also has extensive academic experience at the University of Wyoming, where responsibilities included Dean, Professor, and Head of Department from January 2002 to July 2019. Earlier in his career, Donal was a Lecturer at the University of Bristol (January 1999 - December 2001) and a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the French National Institute of Agricultural Research (January 1997 - December 1998). Donal began research as a Research Fellow at St Catharine's College, University of Cambridge, from September 1993 to December 1996. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroendocrinology from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours in Physiology from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Zoology and Computer Science from Rhodes University.
