Joseph Mauriello

Joseph Mauriello serves as a Professor and Director of the Center for Internal Auditing Excellence at the University of Texas at Dallas since June 2015. In addition, Joseph holds the position of Gleim CIA Lead Instructor since December 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Director of Risk Advisory Services at BDO USA, LLP from 2011 to March 2020, Manager of Risk Management Services at Sunera LLC / AC Lordi Consulting from 2009 to 2011, Internal Audit Manager at Alcatel-Lucent from November 2007 to July 2009, and Senior Internal Auditor / Segment Controller at Celanese from 2005 to 2007. Joseph began the career as an Internal Auditor at ORIX USA Corp from July 2004 to October 2005. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Public Policy and Political Economy from The University of Texas at Dallas, an MS in Accounting and Information Management, and an MBA in Strategy from Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, along with a BA in History and International Relations from Lehigh University and a High School Diploma from Jesuit Dallas.
