Kathy Brown

Kathy Brown is an experienced professional in biomedical engineering and semiconductor technology, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Instruction and researcher at The University of Texas at Dallas since May 2017, focusing on advancing the use of ultrasound in medicine and biology. With an extensive career at Texas Instruments since February 1998, Kathy has held various leadership roles, including General Manager and P&L manager for multiple business units and product lines, driving strategic vision and sustainable growth. Prior experience includes roles at NEC Corporation of America, the University of Washington, and a patent internship at Siemens Healthcare. Kathy holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, an EMBA from SMU Cox School of Business, an MSEE from the University of Washington, and a BSEE from Stanford University.
