Li Zhang is a distinguished academic currently serving as a Professor of Biological Sciences and Head of the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at The University of Texas at Dallas since 2007. Prior experience includes a professorship at Columbia University in the City of New York from 2004 to 2007, and a progression through various ranks at NYU Grossman School of Medicine from Assistant Professor (1995-2000) to Associate Professor (2001-2003).
