Muneer Yaqub

Muneer Yaqub is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in academia and the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas since August 2020, Muneer also holds the position of Graduate Trainee in the Biotechnology and Molecular Biology Department at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research. Muneer contributes to editorial efforts as an Editorial Assistant and Writing Fellow at African Liberty, a prominent pro-liberty media outlet, while reporting as a Features Reporter for The Nation Nigeria. Previous roles include a Laboratory Assistant at De STS Diagnostix, focusing on various diagnostic tests and HIV/AIDS testing and counseling at State Hospital, Ota. Muneer's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of Texas, Dallas, expected to be completed in 2025, and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, completed in 2019.
