Corey Cowart

Corey Cowart currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for the Honors College and the College of Education and Human Development at The University of Texas at San Antonio since 2023. Previously, Corey held the position of Executive Director at the San Antonio Symphony from 2019 to 2022 and at the Amarillo Symphony from 2015 to 2018. Corey's experience in arts administration also includes roles as Vice President of Development at Minnesota Opera (2013-2014) and various positions at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra from 2007 to 2013, including Senior Director for Development, Director of Corporate Relations, and Corporate Relations Manager. Corey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Houston (1996-2000) and attended Yale University from 2001 to 2003.
