Cody Willming

Cody Willming currently serves as the Director of Federal Budget and Policy at The University of Texas System, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes various roles within the U.S. House of Representatives from April 2015 to July 2023, including Legislative Director, Legislative Assistant, and Legislative Correspondent under Representative Linda T. Sánchez, as well as a Staff Assistant for the Committee on the Budget. Additional internships at Southwest Airlines and the U.S. House of Representatives contributed to expertise in community affairs and budgeting. Cody holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and participated in the Bill Archer Fellowship program. Educational background includes a high school diploma from Winston Churchill High School.
