David Coursey

David Coursey currently serves as the Chair of the University of Texas System Faculty Advisory Council, representing over 21,000 faculty members and collaborating with the UTS administration to enhance faculty and educational opportunities within the university system. In addition, David has held the position of Department Chair for Public Affairs and Planning and Director of the Masters of Public Administration program at the University of Texas at Arlington since March 2011. Academically, David earned a Doctor's Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Information Technology and Public Management from Syracuse University, where a Ph.D. in Public Administration was also obtained. Prior educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration in Public Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
