Richard DeLeon has extensive experience in capital construction and organizational governance. Since November 1994, Richard has served as Executive Director of The Office of Capital Projects at The University of Texas System Administration, overseeing capital construction across four University of Texas campuses. In addition, Richard has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Security Service Federal Credit Union since April 2018, and served as a Supervisory Committee member from May 2015 to May 2018. Richard's involvement with the credit union began as an Associate Board Member from January 2011 to April 2019. Richard holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Texas A&M University, obtained between 1979 and 1983.
