Rick Kane

Rick Kane currently serves as the Manager of Information Systems at The University of Texas System, overseeing the Infrastructure Team and recommending technology solutions to enhance business operations. With a rich background in information technology, Kane has held key roles including Senior IT Systems Analyst and Director of the UTx Solution Center, where collaboration with campus leaders has focused on innovative educational models. Additionally, Kane operates as the Managing Partner at American Iron Offroad and the Owner of Kane Consulting. Prior experience includes significant positions at Robots and Pencils Inc., Certain Affinity, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, and Sony Computer Entertainment America, where contributions spanned project management, game production, and strategic development across various platforms. Rick Kane holds a degree from San Diego State University and has foundational education from MiraCosta College.
