Jasmine King

Jasmine King is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as the Student Representative for the Chemistry Major on the Education Committee at the UWA School of Molecular Sciences. Since March 2021, Jasmine has been a Lecturer and Tutor at The University of Western Australia, teaching the CHEM0038 Foundations of Chemistry unit, while also demonstrating in various undergraduate chemistry labs. Jasmine holds the position of WA Student State Representative for the Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology Division of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute. Additional experiences include a Visiting Scholar role at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and previous research internships at Emyria and the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Jasmine’s educational background includes a PhD at The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
