John Sykes

John Sykes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic consulting and education focused on mineral exploration and resource management. Currently serving as a Strategist at MinEx Consulting since November 2017, Sykes also holds leadership roles at AIM WA and lectures at The University of Western Australia, covering various aspects of strategic management and resource economics. With a strong academic background including two PhDs in Mineral Exploration Strategy and Mineral Economics, Sykes contributes to the Centre for Exploration Targeting and has held positions at organizations such as Greenfields Research and the International Mining for Development Centre. Additionally, Sykes has coaching experience in women's rugby and has served in various educational capacities throughout the academic and mining sectors.
