Richard Riley

Richard Riley is a highly experienced professional in the field of anaesthesiology, currently serving as a Board Member for the Australia Japan Society of Western Australia and holding the position of Clinical Associate Professor in Anaesthesiology at The University of Western Australia since 2001. Richard has also been engaged as the Clinical Debriefing Project Manager and Associate Dean at The University of Notre Dame Australia, as well as Chair of the Western Australian Simulation in Healthcare Alliance. Richard’s editorial contributions include serving as Chief Editor of Australasian Anaesthesia and Editor for the Manual of Simulation in Healthcare. With a career spanning over three decades, Richard has practiced as an Anaesthesiologist at Royal Perth Hospital while complementing clinical roles with positions at various educational institutions and health organizations. Richard holds multiple qualifications, including FANZCA from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and DABA from the American Board of Anesthesiology.
