Scott O'Brien

Scott O'Brien is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in network administration and engineering. Currently serving as Manager of Network Administration at The University of Western Australia since January 2018, Scott has previously held roles such as Network and Communications Specialist and Network Engineer at ECSG. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Engineer at L7 Solutions/AMCOM, where key projects involved RTLS and wireless deployments for major clients including Fiona Stanley hospital and Woodside Energy. Additionally, Scott served as Network Administrator at Scotch College, managing a complex network infrastructure, and began a career as an IT Technician at Booth Technologies, focused on customer support and hardware diagnostics. Scott holds a Bachelor of Business in Information Systems from Swinburne University of Technology and a Diploma in Networking from South Metropolitan TAFE.
