Tim Lardner

Tim Lardner is a dedicated research professional with extensive experience in environmental science and ecosystem research. Currently serving as a Research Assistant/Technical Officer and Casual Teacher at The University of Western Australia since February 2017, Tim Lardner specializes in environmental science and technology, covering topics such as environmental change and the climate system. As a PhD Candidate, research focuses on ecosystem-atmosphere gas exchanges and subsurface hydrology within a farming system in the Western Australian wheat belt, aiming to model ecosystem responses to a changing climate. Prior roles at The University of Western Australia from 2008 to December 2016 included Senior Research Officer, overseeing projects related to native ecosystem re-establishment, alongside responsibilities in experimental design, data management, and student supervision. Additional experience includes research assistant roles at Murdoch University and Curtin University, with a solid educational foundation in Environmental Biology from Curtin University.
