Ulysse Lebrec

Ulysse Lebrec is a Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia since May 2023, focusing on developing predictive ground models to enhance offshore wind foundation systems through the study of sedimentary processes and data integration. Prior experience includes a Geologist role at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute from May 2016 to April 2023, specializing in offshore site characterization and geohazards assessment, alongside a doctoral study. Ulysse also contributed to offshore geohazards assessments and carbonate soil analysis during previous positions, including a Master Thesis at TOTAL focused on sediment dynamics and stratigraphic architecture, and an internship at Coral Reef Capital, where tasks involved analyzing natural resource projects related to oil and gas. Ulysse holds a PhD in Marine Geology from The University of Western Australia and a MSc in Petroleum Geology from Institut Polytechnique Lasalle Beauvais.
