Annu Nieminen has extensive work experience in various companies and roles.
In 2007, they worked as a trainee at Accenture for a period of two months.
The following year, in 2008, they interned at McKinsey & Company for two months.
From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Master's thesis worker at the Institute of Strategy and International Business / Helsinki University of Technology.
In 2010, they joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant and stayed with the company until 2013.
In 2013, Annu Nieminen founded "The Real Leadership Gap." Annu worked as its founder until 2014.
In 2015, they became the CEO of Kasvuryhmä, where they mobilized Finnish established companies to rediscover their entrepreneurial spark. Annu held this position until 2017 when they transitioned to the role of board member before leaving the company in 2019.
In 2017, Annu Nieminen founded The Upright Project and currently serves as its Founder & CEO. The Upright Project aims to develop a new type of quantification model for the net impact of companies.
Additionally, they joined the board of Inderes Oy in 2019 as a board member.
Annu Nieminen completed their education at Aalto University from 2004 to 2009. There, they pursued a degree in Information Networks and obtained a Master of Science (Tech.) degree. Prior to that, from 1993 to 2003, they attended Helsingin II normaalikoulu (Viikin normaalikoulu), but it is not specified whether they completed a degree or the field of study pursued during this time.
