Erika Noponen

Erika Noponen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Erika started their career as an intern and English teacher at ESiC Ltd in 2011. Erika then worked as an intern at Loudspring, where they analyzed deal flow and filmed/edit interview videos. In 2013, they joined Startuplifers as a Program Coordinator, responsible for recruitment, visa processes, and marketing. Erika later became a Program Manager at Startuplifers, overseeing the internship program.

In 2014, Erika worked as a Research Trainee at Demos Helsinki, focusing on the smarter use of natural resources and human capabilities. Erika also worked as a Translator Freelancer during this time.

From 2014 to 2016, Erika worked at Lanterna Education as a Biology and Economics Teacher and Assistant Course Director, teaching revision courses and managing 100+ students during summer school.

In 2015, Erika joined Kasvuryhmä as an Operations Coordinator, handling tasks like data analysis, research, workshop planning, and communication.

Most recently, Erika has been working at The Upright Project since 2017, starting as an Analyst and Operations Manager and later transitioning to the role of Account Manager & Senior Analyst. Currently, they serve as the Head of Customer Success, overseeing impact data services for companies, investors, and employees.

Erika Noponen holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they completed in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from Aalto University, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Erika also completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program at Helsingin Suomalainen Yhteiskoulu from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they attended a high school in Viedma, Argentina, from 2010 to 2011. The field of study for their IB Diploma Program and high school in Viedma is not specified.
