David Voelkel

David Voelkel is an experienced curator who has held various positions in museums and historic preservation organizations. David has worked as a curator at institutions such as Maymont, Valentine Richmond History Center, and Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation. David also has experience in consulting and special projects management for institutions like James Monroe's Ash Lawn-Highland and Point of Honor. Voelkel holds a Masters of the Arts in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and a BA in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington.
