Sean Baxter

Sean Baxter is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in marine operations and vessel traffic management. Currently serving as the Director of Marine Operations and Harbour Master at Vancouver Fraser Port Authority since September 2012, Sean has played a pivotal role in managing the active vessel traffic management system, along with overseeing the port authority's 24/7 Operations Centre. Sean's career includes various roles such as Manager of Marine Operations and Assistant Harbour Master, Marine Operations Specialist, and Master with the Canadian Coast Guard. Sean holds an Executive MBA and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor of Maritime Studies from Memorial University, and a Diploma of Technical Studies in Nautical Sciences from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
