Jonathan Martin

Jonathan Martin has over a decade of experience in financial planning and management, currently serving as the Head of Planning, Reporting & Control at The Very Group since March 2010. In this role, Jonathan is instrumental in developing both short and long-term financial plans that align with the Group's strategic goals, creating forecasting strategies, and providing key financial insights to senior leadership. Jonathan has also held various positions within The Very Group, including Head of Planning - FS, where responsibilities included developing a crucial 5 Year Plan for a potential business sale, and Commercial Planning Manager, responsible for producing and presenting financial forecasts. Prior to this, Jonathan worked at Smith & Williamson as an Audit Senior, overseeing external audits for diverse clients. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Nottingham.
