Katie Mavris

Katie Mavris has gained substantial experience in retail and merchandising, currently serving as a Merchandising Assistant at The Very Group since May 2024. Prior to this role, Katie worked as a Buying Assistant in Health & Beauty at B&M Retail from July 2023 to May 2024. From November 2018 to July 2023, Katie held a supervisory position at Build-A-Bear Workshop, where responsibilities included leading sales efforts, coaching team members, and ensuring operational efficiency. Earlier experience includes a Sales Assistant role at Build-A-Bear Workshop and a similar position at Claire's, where Katie developed strong communication skills and customer service abilities. Academically, Katie holds a BA (Hons) in Business and Public Relations from Liverpool John Moores University, completed in 2022, along with prior education at City of Liverpool College and St Hildas C of E High School.
