John Karacalidis has a strong background in risk management and operations, with experience spanning multiple companies. John currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Operations, Information Technology, and Digital Banking at The Village Bank since February 2020. Prior to this, John served as the Senior Vice President - Enterprise Risk Management at The Village Bank from March 2014 to February 2020.
Before joining The Village Bank, John worked as the Vice President - Enterprise Risk Management at Brown Brothers Harriman from March 2008 to March 2014. John also served as a Senior Risk Consultant at Capgemini Consulting from August 2007 to March 2008.
In addition, John held the role of Senior Manager - Enterprise Risk Management at Investors Bank & Trust from April 2005 to July 2007 and was an Associate - Operational Risk Management at Mellon Financial from August 2004 to April 2005.
John Karacalidis attended Bentley University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance, as well as Information Technology. John then pursued further education at the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2007, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to their university studies, John completed their high school education at Norwood High School from 1996 to 1999.
