Marissa Kugler

Marissa Kugler is a dedicated mental health professional currently working as a Mental Health Therapist at The Village Family Services since July 2023. Previously, Marissa gained valuable experience as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Family Service of Santa Monica - Vista del Mar from May 2022 to May 2023, and further developed skills during graduate studies at the USC Rossier School of Education from June 2021 to May 2023. Early roles included an internship at Canopy Center, Inc., where Marissa supported children and families in sensitive circumstances, and positions at Wilshire Boulevard Temple as a Senior Camp Counselor and Teaching Assistant, focusing on creating engaging learning experiences for youth. Marissa also served as a Child Life Activity Assistant at Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center, providing play-based support for children affected by crime. Marissa holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
