Alfreda Singleton-Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of social work and client services. Since January 2011, Alfreda has been serving as an Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Social Work, focusing on teaching. Concurrently, Alfreda has held the position of Senior Director of Client Services at The Villages of Indiana, Inc. since March 1995, where responsibilities include planning and implementing a range of family and child-centered services, particularly in foster care, adoption, kinship care programming, and advocacy. Prior experience includes a role as Child Welfare Division Manager for the State of Indiana from 1987 to March 1997. Alfreda's educational background includes a BS in Business and Retail Management from Western Kentucky University and a certification as a Massage Therapist from Indiana Therapeutic Massage.
