Emily Webb

VP of Education & Workforce Development at The Virginia Chamber of Commerce

Emily V. Webb serves as the Vice President of Education and Workforce Development at the Virginia Chamber of Commerce since January 2023. Previously, Emily held the position of Director at the Office of Board Relations for the Virginia Department of Education from December 2016 to December 2022 and served as the Director of Government Relations for the Virginia School Boards Association from July 2013 to December 2016. Emily's earlier experience includes roles as Special Assistant and Policy Advisor in the Office of Governor Bob McDonnell, involvement in the transition team for the governor-elect, and participation in gubernatorial campaign efforts. Additionally, Emily has held positions with Virginia21 and interned in the United States Senate and House of Representatives. Emily V. Webb earned a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Communications from Virginia Tech and pursued further education at the University of Virginia.
