Yesenia Martinez

Project Manager at The Volcker Alliance

Yesenia Martinez joined the Volcker Alliance in 2018. As a project manager, she plays a key role in supporting the implementation of the Next Generation Service Corps and providing project management for various public service workstreams. Previously, Ms. Martinez was the district liaison for a New York State Assemblymember where she assisted constituents with their state or local government issues and fostered collaborative partnerships with intergovernmental agencies, local leaders, and community members. Prior to that, Ms. Martinez was a project coordinator for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund, where she carried out advocacy efforts with California state and local policymakers to increase access to the electoral process and improve election administration. Ms. Martinez holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a master of public administration from the New York University Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
