Derek Steinbach is a seasoned professional in athletics development, currently serving as the Managing Senior Director of Development - Athletics at the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association since February 2016. Prior roles at the organization include Director of Development - Athletics and Director of Development / Director of Premium Seating. Previously, Derek gained experience at the University of Missouri from August 2012 to February 2016, where roles included Assistant Director of Development - Athletics and Development Associate - Athletics. Additional experience includes participation in the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar in January 2013 and internships with Wisconsin Athletics and the Madison Mallards Baseball Club. Derek holds a Master of Education in Intercollegiate Athletics Leadership from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
