Christina Van Tassell

Christina Van Tassell currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Wiley since November 2021, overseeing financial operations for a global knowledge company. Christina holds a position on the Board of Directors for Empire State Realty Trust, which manages iconic assets in New York, and has been a Board Member for The News Literacy Project, a nonprofit focusing on news literacy education, since July 2019. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer for Dow Jones, Unruly, 24/7 Media Inc., and Xaxis, along with a partner role at Centurion Holdings LLC. Early career includes notable positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where Christina was Director of the Strategic Structuring Group within M&A. Christina holds dual MBA degrees in Finance from Columbia Business School and London Business School and a BA in Business/Accounting from Muhlenberg College, complemented by a semester abroad at Lund University.
