Cinny Kennard

Cinny Kennard is the Director at The Wallis. Cinny was previously the Senior Advisor-Washington D.C. at The Annenberg Retreat at Sunnylands from October 2010 to September 2013. There, they worked with the President of the Annenberg Trust and helped create and launch their Strategic Plan. Cinny also created an outreach plan which included bringing top Washington D.C. elected officials to Sunnylands for events such as the Sunnylands Summit. In addition, Kennard was the Executive Producer of the award-winning film A Place Called Sunnylands and helped create a Washington D.C. presence for the organization. Prior to their work at The Annenberg Retreat, Kennard was a Special Advisor at the Federal Communications Commission from June 2010 to June 2011 and the Executive Director at The Annenberg Foundation. From March 2009 to April 2020, Kennard was a Senior Fellow at the Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership and Policy.

Cinny Kennard earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Northeastern University, and also attended Lauralton Hall in Milford, Connecticut.
