Tory Wood is a professional soprano and experienced voice educator with a robust performance background. Currently, Tory serves as a chorister with Washington National Opera and a soprano with The Washington Chorus, under the direction of Julian Wachner. Additional roles include Staff Soprano at St. John's Episcopal Church and a self-employed voice professional. Previous experience includes teaching private music lessons at Blue Feather Music and performing as a soprano soloist at the Pine Mountain Music Festival, where Tory notably sang Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. Tory holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Lawrence University.
