Matt Murray

Matt Murray is an experienced journalist and editor with a robust background in leading major media organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Editor at The Washington Post since June 2024, Matt previously held the position of Senior Consultant at News Corp from February 2023 to February 2024. From June 2018 to February 2023, Matt excelled as Editor In Chief at The Wall Street Journal. An alumnus of Northwestern University, Matt earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Journalism between September 1983 and June 1988.
