Pradnya Joshi

Pradnya Joshi serves as the National Weekend Editor at The Washington Post since February 2022, focusing on the editing and guidance of coverage related to politics, health, and national security. Additionally, Pradnya teaches political journalism as an Adjunct Faculty member at Northwestern University Medill School. Previously, Pradnya worked at POLITICO as a Section Editor/Department Editor, leading award-winning teams in Trade & Agriculture policy, and held the position of Assistant Business Editor at The New York Times, overseeing breaking news and digital presentation. Pradnya's early career includes roles as a Senior Writer at Newsday and a News Reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, in addition to an internship at the Los Angeles Times. Pradnya holds both a BS and MS in Journalism and International Studies from Northwestern University.
