George Gerbo

George Gerbo is an accomplished journalist and media professional with extensive experience in various roles within the media landscape. Currently serving as a Reporter, Podcast Host, and Media Coordinator at The Washington Times since July 2019, George has previously worked as a Public Information Specialist for the U.S. House of Representatives. George's background includes positions as a Reporter and Sports Anchor at Capital News Service, and several roles within the U.S. House of Representatives, culminating as a Press Assistant and Senior Staff Assistant. Earlier experience includes a Visitor Assistant role at the Architect of the Capitol and multiple positions at West Virginia University, including Tour Leader, WWVU-FM Sports Director, Executive Producer, and Public Address Announcer. Academically, George holds a Master of Journalism from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University.
