Dexter Ellis

Dexter Ellis is a Science Communications & Marketing Specialist at The Water Institute, having previously served as a Visual Science Communications Specialist and a Policy and Research Fellow at The Water Collaborative. As a co-founder of Howard Street Brewing Company, Dexter contributed to business development from December 2018 to June 2022. Additionally, experience includes roles as a Middle School Theatre Teacher at Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School Chicago and Director of Education & Community Programs at Chicago Children's Theatre, where responsibilities encompassed curriculum development, team recruitment and training, budget management, and community partnership building. Dexter holds a Master of Science in Biology and a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Science from the University of Saint Joseph, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Louisiana State University, and experience as a Visiting Graduate Researcher at Tulane University.
