John Swartz, Ph.D., is a seasoned research scientist currently serving as Research Scientist III and Supervisory Program Lead at The Water Institute since January 2021, where expertise in earth systems and climate impacts supports various initiatives for the Department of Interior Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. Prior experience includes roles at the Texas General Land Office as a Coastal Master Plan Technical Advisory Committee Member, and as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Colorado Boulder.
